My Story
Born into an Indian household, I was deeply influenced by the transformative power of food, herbs/botanicals, yoga, and breath work in nurturing overall well-being from a young age. My journey in medicine officially commenced at the University of Southern California, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Biological Science with Honors. Subsequently, I pursed my doctorate of medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, and then completed my Internal Medicine residency at Cedars Sinai Hospital In Los Angeles.
Eager to delve into holistic care, I finally embarked on a two-year fellowship at the prestigious Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine Center at the University of Arizona. This specialized training deepened my understanding of the intricate interplay between mind-body medicine, physical movement, nutrition, and the profound impact of evidence-based complementary medicine.

Now serving as an assistant professor and assistant Director of Integrative Medicine at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, I am dedicated to imparting knowledge of integrative health to students and physicians in training. In my clinical practice, I strive to bring meaningful change in the lives of my patients and my community. I firmly believe in the future of concierge medicine as one of the best ways to deliver superior integrative and personalized medical care. I work in a partnership approach with my patients and truly believe in the philosophy that with love, kindness, and support, we can conquer anything together.

In my down time, you may find me in a yoga studio, or cooking a delicious meal as a self proclaimed chef, or even relishing moments with my delightful puppy companion, Little Watson! Little Watson came into my own life during of a period of struggle and internal turmoil. His playful barks have taught me that healing doesn't always come in the form of pills or injection but at times through simple assurance whispered by a furry friend, "it will all be okay."
I look forward to connecting with you.
